“You are traitors to us. You have let us down. Tell us the truth”.

These were the words of irate and distressed family members of those missing on flight MH370 today. Family members were  bundled out of the press conference today as their demand for answers went unheard.

Today marks the 11th day since this plane disappeared. I can’t understand how in this day and age of modern technology this could be possible.

How do you just lose a plane with 227 passengers and 12 staff on board? There are so many conspiracy theories flying around (excuse the pun) that it’s scary. The pilot was involved, passengers were involved, the plane was hijacked, it ditched in the ocean, it flew under the radar….. And on and on.

A possible sighting over a remote Maldives island has been dismissed, meanwhile the Malaysian  government have insinuated that they know further details of where the plane flew over but they’re wisely not saying.

In the interim hordes of people are turning sleuth and poring over satellite images to find the plane for themselves.

Today the Malaysian minister for transport said that “the pilots and passengers are assumed innocent until we find otherwise”. I would imagine that is very little comfort for family members who are desperate for any news of their relatives.

I’m praying that this plane is found quickly and that there is some hope of survivors being discovered before it’s too late.

How do you just lose a plane…?” I’m with you here. I think prayer for the families and for the missing is a great response. Somewhere, someone knows something.
